Transitional Kindergarten registration will open up on March 2, 2026. For general kindergarten information, visit the Transitional kindergarten webpage. To enroll in Transitional kindergarten, your child must be 4 years of age by Sept. 1.

Students already going to school in the district DO NOT have to re-enroll (e.g., eighth graders will automatically be enrolled by the district in their home high school).

• Transitional Kindergarten student or preschooler: If your child is already a Transitional Kindergarten student or preschooler in the district and you already have a Skyward account, you do not need to complete an application for your child to attend kindergarten. Instead, please contact the school that your child will attend.

How to get started

• If you currently have another child attending schools in Battle Ground, log in through Family Access and skip to "Begin the Registration Process." 

• If you had a child previously enrolled in Battle Ground, please try logging into Family Access first before creating a new account.  You may need to use the “Forgot your username or password?” to retrieve your account information.  If you are not successful logging in this way, please proceed with the instructions below as if you are new to our district. 

• If your child is new to Battle Ground, please complete the new student enrollment.

  • Tips for completing form: 

    • Complete all fields.

    • The telephone number should be entered with numbers only, no dashes

    • If you are returning to the district, please check the “Previously In District” option before   submitting.

  • A Social Security number is not required for enrollment.
