What is L.O.L.A?
Laurin’s new, outdoor learning area, or LOLA, is an approximately 9000 Sq. Ft. area on the northernmost side of Laurin’s campus. This site, which had been overgrown with blackberry bushes, has been transformed from a pile of dirt into a beautiful garden and outdoor classroom.
The garden includes native trees, shrubs, flowers, and other plants with a gravel walkway and natural seating.
LOLA is to be a place where teachers and students can learn and work together outside.
