Laurin Middle School

Bio: This school year marks my 12^th year of teaching special education and my 4^th year at Laurin Middle School. Prior to teaching middle school, I taught high school students for 8 years in various parts of the country: Kennewick, WA; Cecil County, MD; and Randolph, MA. I used to be an English as a Second Language Teacher in the Philippines, which is where I’m originally from. On weekends and during the summer, I love travelling near and far, and exploring trails, lakes, or beaches. Movement is important to me and I enjoy hiking, kayaking, swimming, practicing yoga, and climbing.
