Laurin Middle School

BIO:  I was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, right here in Clark County! I graduated with my Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Activity and Exercise, and School Health Education from Portland State University in 2015. I received my first Masters Degree in Athletic Leadership from the University of Washington in 2016, and my second Masters Degree in Secondary Health and Physical Education from Concordia University in 2017. This will be my first year teaching at Laurin Middle School, but my sixth year in education. I have taught Health, PE, and Leadership grades 6-12 in Oregon and Washington. I am also the Head Gymnastics Coach for Prairie High School and Battle Ground High School. This is my third year coaching in the district, but I have 10-years coaching experience as a High School Gymnastics and Cheerleading Coach across the state. My husband and I currently reside in Brush Prairie, WA. We live with our two dogs: Oliver and Kodiak, and our cat: Beckett. We also welcomed our first baby in May 2022 – Her name is Caroline Addison! In our spare time we like to travel, try new food, and host game nights for our friends and family. I am excited to be a part of the Laurin family. Go Lions!
