Laurin Middle School

Bio: I have been teaching ELL at Laurin since 2004. As a little girl I dreamed of becoming either a doctor or a teacher because I wanted to help other people. I was born in Kazakhstan and received my English and Teaching degree there. Later in the U.S., I got my Master’s in Education from Grand Canyon University. I lived on the East Coast in Massachusetts for two years where I taught ELL in a middle school. I have a daughter and two sons. In my spare time, I like to garden and be with my dogs. I don’t see myself working anywhere else but Laurin. I love the community at this wonderful school!
