Laurin Middle School

BIO: This is my 30th year of teaching, and I have loved all of them! I spent many years teaching first and second grade, as well as elementary science. Two years ago my husband and I moved to Vancouver, and I began teaching at Laurin. It was the best decision I’ve ever made! This is a fantastic community of learners and teachers. I spent this summer walking with my granddaughter so my son could work from home. I also walked my one year old yellow lab, Tillamook every day. My husband and I are working to convert a garage on our property into an art studio, so I try to spend some time on it every day as well. My 2 adult children are married and living in Portland. This year I’ll be team teaching with Mr. Tugaw. He will teach ELA and history. I’ll be teaching math and science. I am looking forward to meeting all of you!
