Laurin Middle School

Bio: This is my 13th year teaching Science. Twelve of those years I have been at Amboy Middle School. This year I get the opportunity to join the 7th grade team at Laurin! I am excited to be here and meet lots of new students! I have a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry. I added a Masters in Teaching degree to my list in 2008. Prior to teaching middle school, I worked at Oregon Health Sciences University, Vanalco, and Andersen Dairy in several laboratory related capacities. When I'm not teaching or blowing something up in the lab, I enjoy sewing, quilting, reading, and baking bread. My husband and I have 2 daughters, both of which are becoming teachers. I look forward to a great school year!
